Instrumental Ensembles

 

All students in Concert Band are a part of the Marching Sobos. A non-competitive marching band, our ensemble works during the school day to rehearse and perform a marching show for the halftime show during home football games. When not marching, students will be playing pep band tunes and helping cheer on our Sobos from the stands!

 

All students in Concert Band are a part of the Pep Band. Pep Band is responsible for playing during the men's home basketball games during the school year. We will play different pep tunes, cheer with the fans, and perform a short set from the stands during halftime. 

 

Jazz Ensemble is an optional ensemble open to students 6-12 and alumni, regardless of experience or instrument - if you play something, we will find a part for you! Jazz performs on the student concerts throughout the year and at some community events. We currently meet Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:30pm - email Mrs. Packett if you're interested in joining!

 

I am always happy to allow students the opportunity to work and perform in small ensembles! Talk to Mrs. Packett if you're interested!
