Woodworking Lab

South Beloit's Woodworking Lab is used in conjunction with the CAD lab. Students spend time creating some of the projects they designed in the neighboring CAD lab as well as learning about different tools and the right way to use them (safety.) 

 

Mr. Johnson's students are responsible for building most of the wooden Chromebook charging stations that appear in rooms across our 1:1 Chromebook district.

 

Not only does this space allow students to learn basic skills that will help them work on their own homes and projects within, but it also provides the foundation that would allow pursuit of carpentry or a related profession.
